Do you have land that is just sitting there because it no longer handles crops? Whether your land is destroyed from over farming or simply was never good farmland in the first place, you can transform it into something useful.

Perhaps the land will never work again as proper farmland, but you can still enjoy something in the same place, without having to build anything. In fact, with the right services, you can transform old, unpleasantly barren land into a glowing golf course, ecological wetland, or it could even be restored to good farmland.

How It’s Done

Scientists have methods of testing soil and figuring out exactly what went wrong. With science, it’s even possible to restore a quarry or old open mine to turn it into farmland. The trick is testing the soil to find out what is lacking and how it has been damaged.

Once this testing has been carried out, the company in charge of reclamation can figure out how to add the missing ingredients back into the soil. It’s a process that can take some time, but it is also a very rewarding one. As the soil gradually recovers from prior abuses, you can see it changing. The space then becomes more and more fertile and eventually, can be planted with trees, grass, or whatever you want.

The change is incredible and one that will surprise you, whether you plan to turn your space into a garden, make it a feed lot for animals, or any other plans you might have.

Reclaiming More Difficult Lands

Sometimes, a marsh or wetland makes up a large part of the land you want to use. This is all but useless to the average person and unless you want to build an eco-friendly wetland space, you’ll probably want to reclaim the land.

These, as well as quarries, require land fill, which means adding soil to the area to fill it back in. Then land that is created with this method can then be stabilized and planted as desired. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a former quarry or wetland turned into a rolling landscape full of greenery.

Imagine being able to use that useless land once more. If you want to transform a barren space into lush green again and don’t want to use the space for building homes or other structures, then we can help. Contact us today to find out how to get started.
